Procedures for Move-In
As we begin to schedule move-in inspections, please take note of the following information
- You will need to come by our office in Comer, GA to sign your lease in person and pick up your keys
- In order to move in you must have separate payments for:
- Security Deposit (the entire deposit is due at move in) — No Security Deposit = No Keys
- First month’s rent or Pro-Rated Rent (if applicable)
- First months rent and/or deposit is payable only by money order or cash.
- Prior to move in you are required to provide proof of renter’s insurance including liability insurance for Pridgen Enterprises, Inc. for a minimum of $300,000 (typically comes along as a standard rate for most renter’s policies). You can contact our office – 706.783.3270 – for suggested Insurance Companies who provide local renter’s insurance if you do not already have one.
- All utilities (where applicable) should be in tenant’s names — water, power, trash, gas
- Anyone not present at the inspection cannot contest the inspection.
Procedures for Move-Out
As we begin to schedule move-out inspections, please take note of the following information:
- Review the Move-Out Procedures which are a part of your lease agreement.
- Instructions for obtaining your security deposit refund can be found here.
- Utilities must be on at the time of the move out inspection.
- All keys issued at move in must be returned at the move out or you will be charged for re-keying the property.
- not present at the inspection cannot contest the inspection.
